Pay a Friend (External) lets you send an electronic payment from your Forward Bank account to anyone—whether they bank with Forward Bank or another financial institution—using just their email or phone number. This option offers flexibility, convenience, and added security, making it easy to pay friends or family wherever they bank.

• Flexible payment options: Recipients can receive funds using their debit card or their bank’s routing and account numbers.
• Enhanced security: Protect your payments by setting up a secret word or phrase that only the correct recipient can use to access the funds.
• Ability to cancel payment: Your friend or family member has 10 days to accept the payment, or you can cancel it any time before they do.

Features of Pay a Friend (Internal):
With Pay a Friend (Internal), you can send money instantly to any Forward Bank account using the recipient’s name and account number. This option is perfect for quick and secure transfers between Forward Bank customers but should be reserved for people you trust, as the funds are immediately available to the recipient.
